The Bartolini oil mill has produced this oil, protecting its quality with the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Umbria, Colli Assisi - Spoleto.
The Production Regulations guarantee that this oil comes from olives of the Moraiolo (not less than 60%), Leccino and Frantoio varieties, grown in Umbria and that the entire process - from the maintenance of the olive groves, to the quantity of olives obtainable from each tree, to harvesting by hand at the right moment of ripeness and the traditional extraction method - is carried out and controlled in such a way as to faithfully reflect the best of Umbrian olive oil culture.
The golden green colour, the clear scent of olives, the intense fruity flavour of olives that creates a pleasant sensation of freshly pressed spicyness on the palate, more harmonious when mature, are the characteristics that will be appreciated by all those who taste this extra virgin olive oil D.O.P.
